Raith Rovers International Supporters Club
Club Constitution
The Raith Rovers International Supporters Club be formed from January 14th 2006.
The club shall conduct its business and fundraising activities according to the laws applicable in the United Kingdom relating to Clubs and Organisations
The aim of the club is to bring Raith Rovers fans and friends of the rovers from around the world back into the rovers community.
In this constitutions perspective, community means all fans, supporters and followers of Raith Rovers FC, irrespective of sex, race, creed,
colour, religion and mental or physical disability. It is the clubs view that football is for all, no matter who, what or where they are.
Our membership categories to encompass all fan bases from the very young to the very old.
To build and promote a international community of Raith Rovers Fans, supporters and followers
To promote Raith Rovers Football Club internationally
To build and promote ties with supporters of football clubs outside of Scottish football
To organise events for the benefit of all our membership categories
To organise events for, help with and support Raith Rovers Football Club
To promote non descrimination in football at all levels
To work with and alongside all other Raith Rovers Supporters Groups and The Official Raith Rovers Supporters Club
Raith Rovers International Supporters Club shall be a non profit making organisation. All funds raised shall be for the benefit of its members and Raith Rovers Football Club.
The club will, where-ever possible, be run locally by branches run on continental or national basis, all controlled and guided by the general committee. Each branch will appoint a co-ordinator who will liase with the general committee on local and international issues, fund raising and events.
All funds raised from local events will be held in the clubs account for club and general purpose use.
COMMITTEE
The committee shall consist of the following elected members
Honorary President Mr. John Sim
Chairman. Chris Knight
Vice chairman to be elected each year by majority vote
Secretary, to be elected every two years by majority vote
Treasurer Allan Traynor
3 General committee members Michael Stirling
Kenny Armour
Colin Campbell
The committee shall be responsible for the day to day running of the club on behalf of its members.
All and any decisions taken will be my majority vote only.
The committee shall be responsible for the clubs Bank Account and the correct use of any funds held in that account.
In the event of the club closing or ceasing to operate, all monies shall go to Raith Rovers FC Ltd.
The club treasurer shall be responsible for drawing up yearly accounts
The allocation of any club funds shall be the responsibility of the committee.
Such allocation will be by a majority vote of the committee.
Annual General Meetings
The annual general meeting shall be held yearly during the months of February or March each year
This meeting shall be held by Webcast in a private locked room for the attendance of members only.
Full and audited accounts shall be presented to all members prior to this meeting
Initial and thereafter election of committee members and officials.
Proxy votes shall not be allowed.
Extraordinary General Meetings shall only be called by a vote in favour of not less than 66% of the entire club membership.
