This was just one of those days. The team played some excellent football and did everything but score (Penalty apart).

 

For whatever reason, our forwards have just not got the cutting edge needed to win games. Today i was doing the match updates and kept particular account of the number of attempts on goal. The score was.. Brechin 7  Raith Rovers 19 and yet it took a penalty to level the scores. Manson, Harty and McManus all wasted really good chances. We should have been 3 up by half time and could easily have scored another 2 or 3 in the second half as well.

 

But that apart, some good solid perfomances from all players again with loads of good football and some great moves. But we didnt earn a draw today, we gave two points away, and that is just not acceptable if we are going to be serous promotion challengers.
